Day 1 Arrive Lima 2-4 Leave the coast and head into the mountains to Huaraz. With fresher air it is easy to explore the area on hikes and climbs 5-7 With some amazing seafood restaurants, in Huanchaco you can watch the fishermen ride the huge surf 8-10 Spend three nights at the beautiful beachside town of Mancora 11-12 A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cuenca was also the place where the Panama hat originated 13-15 Travelling along the edge of the rainforest we reach Baños, a health resort renowned for its hot thermal springs in the shadows of an active volcano 16-18 We arrive near to the remote and small community of Misahualli. From here you can take an excursion out into the Amazon Jungle 19 Otavalo 20 Wander through Otavalo’s colourful markets 21 Depart Quito
