Overview

Discover the historic Silk Road, one of the world’s oldest and most important trade routes which connected China to the western world. Trace ancient cultural connections as you travel between fort cities, fascinating ruins, oases, sacred temples and marvel at the minarets before entering China to explore the vast Great Wall of China, historic Tiananmen Square and the mysterious Terracotta Warriors.

Inclusions

  • Accommodation: 13 nights in hotels & guesthouses, 4 overnight trains
  • Meals: No meals included
  • Excursions: Kashgar Sunday market, Terracotta Warriors Museum, Great Wall of China
  • Transport: Local public buses, minibus, train, on foot, taxi.
  • Group size: average 8 -12, max 18. Due to the modular system of our tours some passengers may join or leave the tour at different times. 
  • Age: Recommended 18 - 60, recommended max 70.
  • Staff: Tucan Travel tour leader, local guides.
