OverviewEnjoy a series of moderate treks in Morocco’s stunning Atlas Mountains and encounter beautiful scenery, rural farmers and friendly Moroccans going about their daily life in the mountainous surrounds. You will be accompanied by a local guide who will tell you all about the history of the area and the flora and fauna inhabiting the mountains. We also include time in Marrakech to browse the souqs, enjoy local delicacies and marvel at the intriguing snake charmers of Djemma el- Fna.

Important: This trek itinerary is only possible in summer months between June and October depending on snow conditions on Mount Toubkal. At other times an alternative trekking itinerary will be used that includes treks in the surrounding valleys. This alternative will not include a summit of Mount Toubkal.

Inclusions
- Accommodation: 7 nights in hotels, hostels & guesthouses
- Meals: Some breakfasts, all meals while trekking
- Excursions: Djemaa el-Fna, Atlas Mountains Trek
- Transport: Local public buses, minibuses, train, on foot.
- Group size: average 8-12, max 18. Due to the modular system of our tours some passengers may join or leave the tour at different times.
- Age: Recommended 18 - 60, recommended max 70.

Exclusions

- International flights and departure tax
- Tipping kitty: allow up to US$15 per person per week (see below for details).
- Pre and post tour accommodation
- Visas, travel insurance (compulsory), personal items, sleeping bag, torch.
- Airport transfers
- Spending money – allow at least US$30-35 per day to cover meals, snacks, drinks, limited souvenirs, laundry, entrance fees and any extras (see the relevant country dossier for advice on how to carry your funds). Please note that this does not cover optional excursions.
