Eastern Europe
A range of new tours going both directions between Moscow and Budapest.
All the way from Budapest to Beijing – many European tours now arrive in time to catch the Trans-Mongolian Railway departures from Moscow, providing travellers a seamless link.
Middle East & North Africa
Tucan Travel has redesigned its adventure tours to Morocco to include highlights such as Marrakech, Fez, Essaouira, and even an overnight camel safari into the Sahara Desert.
The increasingly popular Istanbul to Cairo tours now head both ways to meet demand.
East & Southern Africa
Tucan travel has created 40 new adventures to East & Southern Africa to begin February 2011, many of which run for three weeks or less.
The Grand Africa is the ultimate African safari and includes all of the major game reserves and national parks of East and Southern Africa, more details of which can be found in the new brochure.
The Masai Mara National Reserve, Serengeti National Park and gorilla trek are now included excursions in the tour price where applicable.
Worldwide General Manager Bec Whiffin has expressed the company’s excitement at offering all-new tours to new destinations.
“Tucan Travel has been running tours for 24 years and we have continued to find new destinations and tours to add to our programme. It is always a thrill to create a new route and to share with our travellers a new adventure. We also know that the decision to include several fantastic excursions, such as the mountain gorilla trek, in the overall tour price is going to be popular amongst our travellers on African adventures,” Ms Whiffin said.
What else is new?
Squeezing the whole world into one brochure is never simple, but we have divided it into five easily-identifiable regions, each with a full-page physical map that identifies some of the regional highlights and inspires people to visit. Each tour is accompanied with one of our new-look maps with the tour route marked out and colourful, evocative photos to further whet an appetite for adventure.
The brochure officially introduces Tucan travel’s new all-inclusive prices. As of 1 July 2010 Tucan Travel dropped the local payment on Adventure Tours, Discovery Tours and Overland Expeditions. The 2011-12 brochure features the new single price on these tours.
The very popular year-round discount programme returns. Travellers can combine any three of the six special discounts to receive up to 15% off all group tours.
In response to feedback from clients, agents and staff Tucan Travel has made changes but is keen to stress that all the favourite itineraries are still there, just improved.
Paper copies of the brochure will be sent out on request and can be ordered at https://www.tucantravel.com/contact-us/order-a-brochure and digital brochure is available online at http://ebrochure.tucantravel.com/fvx/tucan/2011-2012gbp/.
