Cycling to the Blue Lagoon

On the Budget Expedition Group Tour, the journey to Vang Vieng from Vientiane is nearly 4 hours long.  I am always up for a fun day out with the group once we arrive in Vang Vieng and I like having something to look forward to. I suggested an optional bike tour out to the famous Blue Lagoon.

Life on the slow boat

Laos is one of my favourite places in South East Asia. I absolutely fell in love with it when I visited, and it’s one of the big reasons I came back to Asia to work. This small sparsely populated country has a chilled laid back atmosphere that sets it apart from the rest of the region.
