Day 1 to 1 - Arrive Kathmandu

Day 2 to 2 - Kathmandu

This morning you will be picked up from your hotel and taken on a sightseeing tour of some of the most sacred sites of Kathmandu and the surrounding region. You will see Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Although non-Hindus are not permitted to enter, you will be able to admire its ornate architecture from the east bank of the Bagmati River. You will visit Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the biggest stupas in the world.

You will also explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, the religious and cultural hub of Kathmandu. The kings of Nepal were crowned here and you will see many temples and statues of gods.

Day 3 to 3 - Bhaktapur & Nagarkot

After breakfast at the hotel you will be collected and taken on a sightseeing tour on the way to Nagarkot. Located 14km east of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur is known as the 'City of Devotees'. This ancient medieval city showcases historical and artistic architecture and you will be taken around Bhaktapur Durbar Square with your guide.

Next you will be taken to Changu Narayan Temple in the village of Changu. It has inscriptions dating back to 464 A.D and the temple is believed to be sixteen hundred years old. After seeing these sacred sites you will continue to Nagarkot, boasting some of the most beautiful landscapes in Nepal. Enjoy views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks and get an early night before your sunrise start tomorrow.

Day 4 to 4 - Panauti, Namobuddha Monastery & Dhulikhel

Wake early in time to see the sunrise over the Himalayas before returning to the hotel for breakfast. You will then get picked up to begin your journey to the scenic region of Dhulikhel. On the way you will stop in the small town of Panauti which has a few prominent icons. You will see the Indreswor Temple and the Durbur Square. Continuing on you will arrive at Dhulikhel, boasting incredible views of the highest peaks of the Himalways. There is also the beautiful monasteries of Namobuddha at the top of Naom Buddha Hill.

Day 5 to 6 - Chitwan National Park

Take a scenic drive to Chitwan, your base for exploring Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park is a world heritage site and a haven for wildlife. Spend two nights inside the park, discovering a hidden world in the forest with twisting vines and an abundance of animals. Keep your eyes peeled for rhino, buffalo and if you are very lucky, the Bengal Tiger. In the evenings, dine on local vegetarian delicacies in the town.

Day 7 to 7 - Lumbini

Drive to Lumbini the birthplace of Buddha. On arrival at the hotel, you have the remainder of the day free at your leisure. The next day you will visit the Sacred Garden, the site where Buddha was born and several monasteries, each representing nearby countries like Myanmar, China and Thailand. Later you will journey to Pokhara in time to relax for the night.

Day 9 to 9 - Pokhara

Get an early start and drive to Sarangkot Hill in time to watch the sunrise. After getting some spectacular photos return to the hotel for breakfast. This afternoon you will visit the beautiful Davis Falls and a local Tibetan Refugee Camp. You can also enjoy a tranquil boat ride on Fewa Lake. The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy Pokhara. If you like to shop, it is excellent for silk scarves, wool blankets, precious jewels and paintings.

Day 10 to 11 - Kathmandu

It is time to return to the Kathmandu Valley for some last minute sightseeing. You will visit the nearby Patan Durbar Square, where you can admire the unique stone architecture of Krishna Mandir Temple. You will also head to Kiratpur, one of the oldest settlements in the Kathmandu Valley. This town specialises in the typical Newari architecture founded by King Siva. You will also explore Chovar Gorge and see the suspension bridge that connects both of its sides. This bridge offers spectacular views of the Jal Binayak Shrine and the nearby Chovar Cave.
