This was the first year silver awards had been awarded to nominees and the first time Tucan Travel was nominated for this award.

The Wanderlust Travel Awards are voted for by readers of the UK's most prestigious travel magazine, Wanderlust.
2010
Highly Commended - Tour Operator of the Year
Tucan Travel has been Highly Commended in the Best Tour Operator category and achieved 4th place against some much bigger tour operators in this year's award.
TNT Magazine Travel Awards 
This is the inaugural year for TNT Magazine’s Travel Awards. TNT Magazine is popular with young overseas travellers living in the UK and Australia. The awards are judged by a “panel of travel gurus, the TNT editorial staff and TNT readers”.

The British Youth Travel Awards are run by the British Educational Travel Association (BETA). BETA is a not-for-profit trade association founded by some of Britain's biggest and best-known travel and educational organisations. Votes were put forward by travellers, travel agents, tour operators and other members of the British travel industry.
