How to Book
Online, direct through our offices or through an agent
We are very pleased you have chosen to book your next adventure travel holiday with us. Our friendly, experienced reservations teams will be able to provide you with everything you need before you jet off for the adventure of a lifetime! There are several ways you can book your tour so please read the below information carefully and choose which option is best suited to you.

Whether you book online, by telephone or in person, we offer you the facility to pay for your tour and services using your debit card or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and any Maestro or Electron cards. There are no surcharges from Tucan Travel when you pay using your card when booking direct with us.
N.B. Although the charge will be processed in your local currency, some banks (especially in Australia) may charge an overseas merchant fee, as our payments are processed in the United Kingdom. Tucan Travel does not charge any additional fees for credit card payments. Please check with your financial institution for more information before you book.
We accept 7 different currencies online including GBP, EUR, CAD, CHF, AUD, NZD & USD. Please remember that the currency you book in depends on the country you are booking from.
We also accept many other methods of payment including cheque, internet transfer, bank transfer or cash. You can discuss this with a reservations consultant and decide how you would like to pay at the time of booking your tour. Online bookings can only be made using a debit card or credit card.
Step 1: Choose your preferred method of booking (A or B)
A. Book directly from the tour page
Once you have found the adventure that you want to book, bring that tour page up and click the 'Check Dates & Book' button. You can then select the departure of your choice if it has availability, and click 'Book or hold'. You will then be taken to the sign-in page on our online booking system.
B. Book by region, date, tour length, tour code or travel style
On our unique 'Availability View' (see the tab on the quick search box) you can enter a specific date and search by destination, travel style and what's on special. You can then select the departure of your choice if it has availability, and click to 'Book or hold'. You will then be taken to the sign-in page of our online booking system. It's easy!
Step 2: Complete Your Booking Form Online
Once you have logged in, you can complete the form and submit your details to us. You can choose to either confirm your booking or hold the option for two working days. Please remember that the currency you book in depends on the country you are booking from. If you have already made an adventure travel booking with us log in to your account and view your details. You can also update your details, add extra services or make payments at any time.
Step 3: Confirm Your Booking
If you have confirmed your booking, and your credit card has been accepted, the deposit amount will be automatically deducted from your credit card. You will also receive an email with confirmation that this reservation has been accepted. A member of Tucan Travel reservations will contact you as soon as possible about your booking. If your tour includes the Inca Trail trek and you have entered all the names and passport details for everyone on the booking, we will try to confirm the Inca Trail trek if this is your first option, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you have held the place(s) on the tour for 2 working days, you will be contacted by a member of our reservations team (or you may want to contact them). They will ask if you want to confirm the booking, and will want your credit card details – please note that you can NOT go back into your booking and add these details. They will also need all full names of everyone on the booking, plus passport details, and flight arrival details and if you would like to add any extra accommodation before or after the tour.
Please note that after 2 working days, the places you have held on the tour will auto-cancel, so you will no longer be holding a booking on your selected tour. If you need assistance at any time, don’t hesitate to contact us as our reservations staff will be more than happy to answer your questions.
Please note: Payment in full is due at least 60 days prior to departure.
Find the tour you want to book on our website or brochure and then contact us directly via our website, email with your tour and personal details. Alternatively, we will accept your booking by telephone but you must confirm that you have read and accept our booking conditions. You will then be emailed or posted an invoice with the booking details and any incorrect information must be notified to us immediately.

You can book any Tucan Travel tour, expedition cruise or Add-on through your preferred travel agent.
