Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO)
Tucan Travel is a member of the Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO). The association is an alliance of around 150 companies dedicated to the provision of quality products, high standards of personal service and customer satisfaction.

Association of Independent Tour Operators Trust Ltd (AITOT)
As a member of the Association of Independent Tour Operators Trust Limited (AITOT), Tucan Travel has provided a bond to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992.
In the event of Tucan Travel's insolvency, protection is provided for non-flight packages commencing in and returning to the UK and other non-flight packages excluding pre arranged travel to and from your destination. Please note that packages booked outside the UK are only protected when purchased directly with Tucan Travel.
In the above circumstances, if you have not yet travelled you may claim a refund, or if you have already travelled you may be able to continue your holiday or claim repatriation to the starting point of your non-flight package.
Travel Compensation Fund (TCF)
Any arrangements we have contracted to provide through our Sydney office which includes Australia and New Zealand are fully bonded by the Travel Compensation Fund (TCF number 2/7237). In conjunction with joining the TCF, all members require a travel agents license - our license number is 2TA4884.

Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL)
Tucan Travel is ATOL Protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser's Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 6855. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking. This applies to International and/or National flight inclusive tours or components if purchased from Tucan Travel in the UK.

Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA)
From the moment you book with an Association of British Travel Agents Member they’re there to give you advice and assistance. They can also explain how to protect your travel arrangements, so you don’t lose out if your service provider fails financially, and they can help in the unlikely event that things go wrong.
